How many years have you been in the industry?
I have worked for Access Health CT (the Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange) since January 2013. Prior to that, I worked on health policy in Connecticut state government in 2012.
Why do you believe that the managed market operations is so important within the industry?
The Affordable Care Act created structures and policies to expand access to health care and improve our health care systems. A wide range of stakeholders need to work together to achieve these goals.
What do you hope attendees will take away from your presentation, workshop or panel discussion?
I hope attendees will learn more about health insurance exchanges and opportunities for collaboration in health reform.
What inspires your passion and/or interest for managed markets/managed care and/or healthcare?
I am passionate about helping more people get access to health care, and in the long term, improving the population health, by developing and implementing effective reform policies.
Matt will be one of the distinguished speakers at the 3rd Annual Pharmaceutical Managed Markets and Payer Marketing Conference.
