Why do you believe that the managed market is so important within the industry?
Managed Markets is not only an area of extreme growth, but it is the epicenter of innovation in the pharmaceutical industry. As we lead change at Astellas, we use innovation to drive results. Managed Markets forces us to look outside of our vertical assignments and start to see the industry as a whole, identifying key trends that can lead to growth opportunities.
What inspires your passion and/or interest for managed markets/managed care and/or healthcare?
Truthfully, Managed Markets was a weak spot for me as a rep in the field. As a learning professional, I have accepted this subject area as the foundation of “the rep of the future”. I am passionate about tapping into this area as a way to develop knowledge equity, not only in our sales representatives, but in our commercial organization as a whole.
